How To Change Port Number In Microsoft Outlook

When you use Microsoft Outlook to manage your different email accounts, it communicates with the email service provider’s incoming and outgoing servers regularly. In order to access these servers, Microsoft Outlook makes use of specific ports which are defined within your Outlook account.
Sometimes, you might have problems with sending or receiving emails in your Outlook application. There can be several reasons behind your email sending and receiving problem. Out of the many reasons, one reason can be the incorrect port settings. If it is a problem with the port settings, luckily Microsoft Outlook has an effective solution for this. You can modify the settings of your Outlook account so that the correct ports are being used. If your computer system is already using the port, which Microsoft Outlook uses by default, you will have to change the port that Outlook is using in order for the program to work properly.
The following Outlook settings guidelines will help you change the port number successfully.
