Microsoft Outlook is a personal manager program that is popular for its email manager program. According to the latest statistics, most people in the world use Outlook email client for managing their emails. Outlook 2013 is the latest version of the email manager program and can be easily installed with your Windows 8 operated computer. However, some might ponder over how to setup email in Outlook as the whole user interface has changed now. Here we discuss simple instructions for configuring an email account in Outlook.

Instructions
  • Click on the Outlook 2013 tile found in the Start screen of the Windows 8 system for launching the program. If you are currently in the Desktop mode, you can return to the Start Screen by launching the Charms bar by pressing the Windows and C keys found in the keyboard simultaneously. When the Charms bar appears on the screen, click on the Start button and the Metro user interface will open up on the screen. 
  • Now you will be able to see the window titled 'Welcome to Outlook 2013' on the screen. Click on the Next button found in the window to proceed with the configuration settings. 
  • For starting the email setup process in Outlook, click on the Yes button followed by the Next button in the window titled as Add an Email Account. 
  • In the Auto Account Setup window that appears on the screen, click on the E-mail Account. Enter your name in the text field found next to the option labeled as Your Name and fill in all the other details like email address, password for logging in to the email account etc in the respective fields for setting up an email in Outlook. 
  • If you wish to set the email manually, click on the radio button next to the option labeled as Manual setup or additional server types. Type all the information in the necessary fields for completing the setup process. However if you do not wish to setup email manually, omit clicking on the Manual setup or additional server types radio button and click on the Next button. 
  • Outlook will search for the server settings and other fields, and will fill in the fields automatically and will help you to configure an email in Outlook email manager program. 
Since now you know how to setup email in Outlook, you will be able to easily configure a third party email account and use it with the email client.
